About the Author

Cari B. Cannon is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Santiago Canyon College where she teaches Introduction to Psychology, Child Psychology, Biological Psychology, Psychology and Effective Behavior, and Research Methods in Psychology.

Dr. Cannon attended Fullerton College before earning a BA in psychology from UCLA. Dr. Cannon earned an MS and PhD in Experimental Psychology from Washington State University. Before becoming a professor she completed a postdoctoral internship at Duke University.

In her spare time, Dr. Cannon enjoys crafting, kickboxing, reading, hanging with her husband and playing with her dog.

Part motivational speaker, part standup comedian--Dr. Cannon can speak at your next convocation, graduation, or other event (if you want students to actually listen).
